I am having him a similar issue except in my machine is a Toshiba, and I first noticed this problem was occurring after automatic updates. unfortunately, after the most recent set of updates, Vista created a plethora of restore points such that there were no restore points before this nightmare began. In addition to error code 10, I've also been getting error codes 19 and others related to damage drivers or registries.
I have uninstalled drivers and move the mouse and keyboard, reinstall same drivers, installed new drivers, loaded the most recent bios settings, performed a hard reset (remove battery and AC power holding power button and 30 seconds), deleted now send keyboard drivers from the registry, and strolled Hewlett-Packard drivers, and even did a clean install of Vista. and yet, my mouse and keyboard do not work. As I type this I am using dictation software and a USB mouse. If anyone can offer any advice or solutions so that I may have a vital component of my ability to make money back :-) I would very much appreciate it. Last edited by dai; 06-24-2009 at 11:15 PM. |
