Dell laptop battery not charging
Hi,
My 1+ year old Dell Latitude's battery doesn't seem to charge beyond 48% capacity. When I plug in the power, it starts charging, then stops at 48% and doesn't charge any more. When I hover over the battery icon, it says "48% available (plugged in, charging)", but I don't see the meter bar rising to indicate that it is charging. It remains at 48% as long as the power is plugged in. What could be wrong? Is there any other solution besides changing the battery? Thanks for the help. |

Re: Dell laptop battery not charging
Try using the battery up and see if it charges back to full. Also test the battery in another similar laptop if it behaves the same way. If it does, then may be you would consider changing the battery with a good/working/new one.
