Can't Initialize New Hard Drive With Recovery Discs!! HELP

My old hard drive crashed & failed the HDD Diag test. I just got a new hard drive (Western Digital) and it matches the OEM hard drive's specifications (same storage , etc). I put it in the laptop (Toshiba Satellite A105), with the original 2 recovery discs. I put 1 of 2, and I get a screen where it asks me to initialize it, so I click yes, and I get a error message (ERR: F3E1000001) And I have to click OK which shuts down my computer. If I click no on the initialize screen, it also shuts down my computer. HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!

Re: Can't Initialize New Hard Drive With Recovery Discs!! HELP

Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite A105. The original hard drive crashed, and I bought a new Western Digital one on Ebay. It came in today. It has the exact same specs as the original one. It is a WD Scorpio (WD1000BEVS).

I have the 2 original recovery discs, and when I put in my new hard drive and started the process with my recovery discs, it asked me to Initialize the hard drive. I clicked yes, but then I got an error message (ERR: F3E1000001). If I clicked no, the system would shut down. When I clicked the only button on the error message (OK), it would also shut down.

Can anyone PLEASE help me out? If there is a software CD for WD drives, I didn't get any, please tell me which one to burn to my blank DVD, as there is about 4-5 in the HDD Diags section. Steps would be VERY helpful (Installation)
