Dell Inspiron E1705 - LCD Screen White Bar
Hello,
A few days ago, completely out of the blue, a flickering white bar appeared on my Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop. It seems to come and go, but is there more often than it isn't. I've had the laptop for about 3 years and have never experienced anything that could physically damage it. The bar appears during startup and remains while diagnostics or Windows is running. My warranty is expired so I am praying that I don't have to replace the screen, I simply cannot afford it. Is it possible that the LCD cable needs to be reset? I'm not familiar with that process if that is the case, or if there are any other alternatives. Thank you in advance for your help. |
