Vaio Won't Boot After Holding Del Key
I'm trying to get a Vaio PCG-7D2L running. First it would boot part way into Windows XP and stop with a checksum error. I thought it might be a memory problem and switched memory chips around and also tried just booting from a single 256 chip. All to no avail. I then tried to get into setup. I turned it on and then held the DEL key down hoping to get into setup. Instead it is now mostly dead. The power leds light up, the other LEDs on the front edge for Drive, Wireless, etc light up, and the drive is turning, but nothing ever goes any further. No screen at all and no beeps. Did I flash the bios or something. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks Wes |
