No Connection to Internet
So, I got a HP Pavilion zv5000, formatted it and reinstalled all the drivers and whatnot. Basically, all the fun stuff lol, but when I try to get on the internet, it says there is no connection, but my icon in my toolbar tray shows that I have a connection. Is there something I'm missing?

Re: No Connection to Internet
Are you connecting via wire or wireless? Any devices with yellow or red marks in Device Manager?

Re: No Connection to Internet
Hello,
How are you connecting to internet wired or wireless? Check Device Manager for any Drivers not installed correctly. What anti-virus/ Firewall are you using. Try turning it off to check connection. Click Start > Run > type ipconfig /all Post the details.

Re: No Connection to Internet
Well, I am currently replying from school so my connection on my laptop isn't currently on. But when at home, I connect through wireless. I didn't have this problem when I reformatted my desktop and it uses a wireless connectivity as well. Currently, my Command Prompt says this:
Host Name.................: XXXXX-XXXXXXXXX Primary Dns Suffix........: Node Type.................: Broadcast IP Routing Enabled......: No WINS Proxy Enabled....: No Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection: Media State..........: Media Disconnected (cause I'm not at home right now) Description...........: Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN Physical Address...: XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX |
