HP Pavilion Bios reset

Hi, I have an old laptop - HP Pavilion Z1155. I don't remember the bios password. I have called HP and its more trouble then it worth with them. How can I reset the bios. There is no battery to take out. Its been sitting without the normal battery in it for at least a year and I still need a password to get it started. Any ideas out there. Its a large paperweight right now.
My nephew has a Dell laptop and he forgot his password. We called Dell, proved that we are the original owner and they gave us a password to reset. I don't understand why HP doesn't do the same. It would make life easier. Thanks
