Overheating
I've got a Dell Studio 1735 laptop, running with Vista Home Basic, SP1. Recently it shut off during a game, so I started monitoring the temperatures with Real Temp and it showed that both cores were constantly at at least 68 C, and when The Sims 2 was running, it was up to 98 at some points. I also installed SpeedFan and it shows significantly lower temperatures: the cores at 54 and during the game at around 80 C.
So, how dangerous is it for my laptop and what can I do about it? And which program is correct? Thanks in advance. |
