Thumbs Down Laptop is having Boot Problems..?

Hello, I am experiencing problems with an Acer Aspire 5520 5219, AMD Turio 64 with Windows Vista.

The Laptop turns on then never hits the post screen then powers off and back on. It does this repetitively and for as long as you will let it. First I thought the battery. So I just simply unplugged the battery and plugged the power cable into the wall. Still same scenario. I have now removed the memory and tried booting it.. Still same scenario. I am pretty much figuring it is the motherboard but I know very little about laptops ive always been a desktop guy. Any explinations for me or tests ? I will continue to pull out the following.. CPU, GFX Card, Etc. Untill I can get it to pass the post screen and into the windows screen. If anyone has any solutions or recommendations I would greatly appreciate them.

Re: Laptop is having Boot Problems..?

Try with a good/working RAM (remove the ones currently installed). Some (if not ALL) laptops display the same symptoms if there is NO RAM installed (or has one defective RAM installed).
