display problem
hello everyone:
I just got a new display for my dell 5150 due to the other one was broken. i installed it and i thought everything was fine until i turned it on and the result was that EVERY SINGLE THING that is black (Such as the wallpaper) looks red, gray looks pink and stuff. So i have no idea what to do now. Do you have any suggestions? Any idea of what could it be? IŽd really appreciate if someone can give me any advice to fix it. Thx. |

If you see a pink/red hue on the screen from startup then it could be a bad backlight (part of the LCD). If this LCD is brand new, then try replacing the inverter first.
