Cheap Music Notebook?

Yo dudez,

Basically, I've got about 300 pounds. I want to buy a laptop that will be able to handle a guitar amp modeling program called Gearbox by Line 6. And maybe be able to handle some music recording and mixing software, in my case Ableton Live 7 (I understand this might be a little intense?)

I'd also like it to have wireless network connectivity and be decent for web-surfing, word-processing, excel and all that. Good for listening to music from aswell.

As for size, I'd prefer something relatively small but not so tiny I get a cramped keyboard or have to squint at the screen etc. As i'm going to be taking it around a lot I'd also like some pretty decent battery life.

Gaming will probably only go as far as pinball.
