sony vaio pcg-k23 win xp won't start

sony vaio pcg-k23 win xp won't start.
in an effort to fix this, I upgraded to win xp pro. Now the in built wireless system won't work. I need help.

Could you please explain it a little bit more ..its hard for anybody to reply with this much information. So were you running XP home and than you decided to upgrade to XP pro ?

Yes, my labtop had the normal xp, But when it could not start for weeks, I decided to install windows xp pro. whichworks well except the in-built wireless card does not work.Before upgrading to win xp pro, I tried the recovery disc, bringing the computer back as it was from factory. this did not help to restart the computer. Only win xp pro will restart.

I think you missed the step to install the drivers. Get the drivers here:

Its a great sugestion ..please let us knos if drivers download helps in anyways ..we will go further from there ..
