is my asus getting too hot?
i have an asus Model: X83Vb-X2 laptop that i bought from bestbuy about 5 months ago it comes with a descent video card and i like to play some low end games (fable, alone in the dark) but when i play them my computer feels like it gets real hot so i havent really been playing a lot of games and when i do i cant really enjoy them because im scared im gonna over heat the system because im not sure what is actually TOO hot in comes with a monitor to detect if it gets too hot but it has never gone off i checked some reviews on this computer at best buy .com and alot of people say they haven't had no problem playing games like wow i guess what im tryng to ask is how hot is too hot

Re: is my asus getting too hot?
The information you need is usually available in a specs sheet (try website of your model) or may be in the Users Manual. Look for operating temperatures. Most laptops like desktops, turn OFF if it is 'dangerously' HOT for it to continue operating.
