touchpad trouble

I have an Acer Aspire 5520 running on Windows 2000 (not Vista) to make it compatible with the network server at work. I bought a Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard with Setpoint 3.3 software. I installed said software and my touchpad and the function keys stopped working.

I have uninstalled Setpoint 3.3 and taken the laptop to a Restore Point prior to the installation of Setpoint. I now have the use of the function keys back but the touchpad is still not working.

I have 2 questions:

In the device manager what would the touchpad be listed as? (Under mice and other pointers I have two entries which read HID-compliant mouse & PS/2 Compatible Mouse).

How do I fix the problem and get the use of my touchpad back?

Try to reinstall the touchpad drivers. As for the function keys, may be you need the ACER utility program to make them function.
