Persistent Screen Distortion

Hello,

About a month ago I used my laptop for a presentation. I hooked it up to the projector and when I unplugged, everything on my screen was stretched wide a little, as if the resolution were not good. Today when I hooked it up to another LCD projector, it reverted to its normal state, but when I unhooked it, it went back to the distorted state. The distortion is not TOO bad, but I prefer it normal.

I have a Sony VAIO, and have tried Fn + F7 several times. How do I correct this problem?

I have the same issue before and I think it is the default behavior when you transfer screens. Try extending your lcd screen or use dual screen.
