[SOLVED] "not a Sony battery" - then hibernates
I bought a non-Sony replacement battery for my VGT-150 laptop. From time to time I get a warning notice that won't go away: "Not a genuine Sony battery. Replace with a genuine Sony battery after computer hibernates".
I don't see how so many people can advertise replacement batteries if the Sony sw rejects anything other than a battery made by Sony. 1. Is there something wrong with my replacement battery? My laptop seems to run fine when it's installed - until I get the Sony warning message. 2. If not, how do I kill the warning message that won't go away and keeps putting itself on top of all the other windows? thanks Ernie |
