blank screen - switched to monitor, f5 not working
hi.
my fault :( i have an acer netbook (the small one with the atom processor) and i use an external monitor. normally i remember to right click properties and return the output to the laptop before i switch off but today i restarted without remembering. now what happens is when i start up the windows logo appears then both screens go blank. the machine is working fine but for some reason the picture isnt being transferred to the monitor (tried other monitors). holding fn f5 doesnt work i'm sure there's a simple way to return the image - and i am really hoping someone can tell it to me :) thanks in advance |

Both screens have goes blank/no display after the Windows logo? How about in Safe Mode?

there isnt a safe mode option that i could see, only a boot option and another one. i went through all the sub-menus looking for safe mode and when i exited the menu it started normally. cant answer it myself...but gads its back :) thanks for the post answer as well |
