Hp pavilion entertainment pc crashed

It boots up normally but when it goes to load it restarts.

Lights up normal, makes normal noise. It doesnt boot from CD rom drive either. Ne suggestions?

Can you boot into Safe Mode? If yes, run CHKDSK /F /R in command prompt.

If it doesn't boot from the CD drive, make sure it is set up to do so in BIOS settings (see BOOT sequence/order). Also make sure that the lens of the CD drive is clean. Another way is to tap on F12 at startup to give you the boot device options menu. Also make sure you have a good/working bootable disc in the drive. If none of these work, then consider getting the drive replaced.
