no sound

Hello everyone. A friend asked me to install a Windows 98SE on an old laptop. It's a Gericom Silver Seraph TS30T (Pentium II 300 Mhz, 64 RAM).

He didn't have the drivers needed and I only managed to get the video card working. Maybe someone has an idea of what sound driver or motherboard does the laptop have because I'm running out of options. I didn't get any information from software like AIDA32 or Everest. The mainboard is unknown and the same for the sound section.

I apreciate all the information you may offer. Thank you!

Re: no sound

There's a freeware program called Unknown Device Identifier:
http://www.zhangduo.com/udi.html
It will tell you all of the devices you have, and it will work on Windows 98SE.
