Laptop Won't Connect to Wireless Network
Hello, I have an old laptop that I use, an Ibm Thinkpad G40, Type 2384, and it has a wireless card, and will connect to my neighbors wireless network, but will not connect to my home. I have had several different computers connect wirelessly to my home network, but this laptop will not. The signal strength is full, it just says it fails to connect, and my neighbors signal is at one bar. I don't really like using his connection, I was wondering if anyone know what the problem was or if they could tell me how to manually make it connect to my home. Thanks for your time. The router I have is a D-Link DI524 802.11g/2.4 GHz

Re: Laptop Won't Connect to Wireless Network
Check your WLAN card if it can connect to either 802.11b or 802.11g or both. If it can only connect to an 802.11b network set your router for mixed mode.
