Acer 4710G Error code 39 with Broadcom 802.11g WLAN for windows xp

my device maanager shows a yellow exclamation mark on tne network adapter broadcom 802.11g.I have tried to update it but it shows the error "Windows cannot load the device driver for this device.The device driver is missig or corrupt".pls help

It would help if you can get the exact details of the WLAN card (model number, etc.). If you want try to uninstall the driver in DEVICE MANAGER and any related programs in ADD/REMOVE.
