Satellite P205D

I'm having an issue - the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite P205D-S7454 and I've run PC Check on it and everything passes. However, when I run the laptop it will (out of nowhere) blue screen and go down. When I restart it tells me that it had an unexpected shutdown. I have run the restore disks as well and have had no luck in correcting the issue. I am running Vista... any suggestions?

Thanks,
Chad

Re: Satellite P205D

No, it gives no warnings before going blue screen and gives no messages regarding why when it comes back on.

Re: Satellite P205D

Were you able to get the error message shown in the blue screen?

Also it is also possible that it created minidumps. Check in your Minidump folder (C:\Windows\Minidumps).

Re: Satellite P205D

I am having the same issue. I have a Toshiba Satellite A215 and it shuts down out of nowhere aswell. I checked the minidump file and there is nothing. There are also no errors that ever come up. It almost seems like it is running too hot. But I can't use the laptop for more than an hour at a time, if that.

Hi Painter25,

Kindly create a separate thread. Creating one prevents a lot of confusion. And that is a big help for all of us.

Thank you.
