No Display - Dell Inspiron 1420

Hello everyone,
I am experiencing no display on the screen of my laptop.
All leds are lit and computer boots up with all the sounds working,
however screen is blank, without anything on it, but is backlit.
Is this my video card or screen just died???

Thanks for the info!!!
My warranty has expired last summer, this just added another year!
I called them they will be sending tech this week to change my motherboard!!!
