ich8 card with dell 1525
Hi,
has anyone got a fix for the lack on sound from my ICH8 card  ...It is recognised and configured but not a peep of sound comes out anywhere.I know this problem is an ongoing problem but there have been SO many answers on Linux forums and they differ so much I am at the moment running suse 11.1 with KDE. What is so annoying is that I have a real cheapy usb (£2-00) from hong kong that works fine.. With my old PC I have never had a problem with Linux and sound setup. Please, Please...someone help.. My sincere thanks. Brian |
