Dell laptop black screening at startup
I have got a Dell Inspiron 1720 which is giving me sleepless nights. When I start it it just gives out a black screen and hangs there until I start it in Safe Mode. When I restart, it sometimes starts up fine and sometimes just shows a blue flickering screen and gives a blue screen and restarts. i have tried to reinstall Vista, downgrade to Xp, update Bios and still the same. Please help!!

Re: Dell laptop black screening at startup
This is just a suggestion, reason: because it loaded Xp OK then what I suggest might not be the case!
I think you might need to conduct a Hard disk check. Go into the Bios and run hard drive diag/check. If it fails it means your looking at a new Hard drive. |
