[SOLVED] Toshiba Satellite A355D-S6922 notebook- deleted Nortons and now have problem
I uninstalled the Norton Antivirus trial from my new Satellite, and now whenever I start up windows- I get all sorts of little error messages, like this:
TSS exe error parsing c:\windows\Microsoft.NET\framework64\v2.0.50727\config\machine.config Parser returned error 0xC00CE556 My PC tune-up program tells me that my computer is having problems because I deleted files from my Fetch folder- but the only thing I manually deleted was the Norton program. I also used Norton's own uninstall program to make sure that I had no traces of it left. Would restoring factory settings to my laptop via a Restore disk help? I'll order the recovery cd if someone can reassure me that it'll solve this problem. |

Re: Toshiba Satellite A355D-S6922 notebook- deleted Nortons and now have problems
It seems the problem is more of Windows related rather than hardware. If it is, then it is possible that a reinstall/fresh install of operating system from a recovery partition or a recovery cd can fix it.
