OS: WAS vista
|
Well firstly my laptop is an e-system EI3103. 512MB RAm, 80GB HD.
So firstly i had a problem where a blue screen of death appeared, many said it was the drivers as i did a virus scan with NOD. This happened more, and more often. So my friend said i should wipe it, but i did not have a recovery disc. Apparently i was suppose to make one, but it was too late. I followed the procedure of recovery in my manual from the techguys. Before i has OS Vista Home Basic, and when i got the screen up, it did not come up with any of the options that it should have, so i then press to restore, upon which it came up with vista ulitmate.... no idea how, kept my files, AND the problems. So i used UBCD nuke and boot to wipe it. now i have NO OS, i have my vista no, on the sticker on the back, but dont know how to sort it, OR get an OS? Can you answer if i have completly messed my comp up, or whether i can fix it myself.... please do explain as i know about comps but not problems.... Thanks for all your help in advance. ![]() Anything else which you need to know, just post and i will reply asap. |

Re: Laptop problems.... HELP
Did you delete and format also the recovery partition? If not, power off the laptop, press and hold or tap on F10 as you power ON. Continue until Recovery Window is displayed. See steps here.
