upgrading cpu

Hi I have a Toshiba Satilite Pro and I was wondering if I can upgrade my processor and video card
SPECS:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo Cpu T5750 @ 2.00 GHz 2.00 ghz
Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB
32 Bit operating system
Vista Basic

I would just like to know what is compatible and worth it's cost

Re: upgrading cpu

First you have to know if GPU is integrated in mobo or not. If not, you can upgrade but choices are limited due to shape and size. Totally different from PC Desktops.

As for CPU.. most often you can. Make sure it fits and it is supported by the motherboard.

As to what is compatible... this you have to research based on what you have currently (and again if supported by your motherboard).

For the cost... IMHO.. not worth it. GPU alone costs a LOT (second hand unit). Personally I am not the type to spend like $150 - $200 for a second hand GPU. I would rather save some more and get me a new one (yes, even for over $1.5k).
