[SOLVED] Gateway Boot Problem

I have delt with many issues, but not this one. 1 yr old gateway dual core 4 gig ram. I power up the unit and the first gateway screen appears and stays. will go no further. The HDD is fine. I used it on another laptop. I can get into bios, but nothing else. Will not look for a drive. it just hangs on the first screen.

I do get a message with F10, No TPM or TPM has a problem.

any solutions for me?

Re: Gateway Boot Problem

Message came up when you pressed F10?

Try to boot with a bootable CD/DVD media (Vista installation DVD or an XP installation CD or may be linux live CD).

Post back what happens.

Re: Gateway Boot Problem

I found the problem, removed 1 stick of ram and all worked fine.
