Downgrade from Vista
Hello,
I recently downgraded my daughter's Presario f500 from Vista to XP pro and did see the Nov 18, 2008 post on how to fix the sluggish screen refresh, but noticed that the incorrect driver page was provided. It is possible that someone could post some help as to the correct link. Also does anyone have a fix for the wireless card that simply stopped working? An upgraded BIOS was suppose to help, but XP rejected it as incorrect. Harvey |

Re: Downgrade from Vista
Hello and welcome to TSF...
we need to know what model you have: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Looku...=12&submit.y=7 Usually you start WLAN with quick launch HP buttons... if you did not install HP Quick launch buttons driver, you have a issue... Go to Network Connections in Control Panel and check if WLAN card is enabled or disabled... Well, maybe you should tell us do you have any yellow question marks in Device Manager????? Keep us posted... |
