Video Card Problem?
Greetings, I have a Toshiba Qosmio F40 and I'm running Vista. I was just on my computer doing simple everyday tasks when suddenly the screen locked up and a bunch of pixels turned yellow in linear format. After rebooting my computer my display was repeated in two columns with 3.5 displays in each column. So I basically had 7 displays running at once on the same screen. The computer recognized the problem and ran a system restore but after restarting the display was the same and the computer no longer loads the login screen. It gets to the part where it loads Vista but fails to load the login screen. I tried reformatting the computer and the system fails to load the drivers on start up. I don't know what to do and I'm not entirely sure if I have a virus or a failed video card. My warranty is 3 months over (go figure) and I highly doubt they'll repair my system. So with that said... I hope you can help me. Thanks
