CPU spikes on new laptop!
Hi guys, once again, thanks so much for this service.
![]() so i got a new laptop: http://laptop4ever.blogspot.com/2008...asus-g17v.html its a gaming laptop but it will be mostly used for Audio. im having trouble with MIDI syncing it to my other instruments, and i cant pinpoint the problem. i reckon it might be CPU spikes that might be knocking the sync off but i cant be too sure. ive tested it on both installed OS's, Vista and XP pro with similar results. ive recreated the same environment on my desktop (same project, soundcard etc..) and the sync is close to perfect, so its something not right with the notebook itself. if you guys could help me out with this, or point me in the right direction, id greatly appreciate it.# THnks in advance rory |
