Upgrading a Laptop CPU?
Yeah.....No one usually upgrades a Laptop CPU...but I thought I'd give it a try.
I received a Acer Aspire 5515 Notebook as a gift a week ago..and it has a Athlon 2650e CPU.....Its very easy to remove as I looked at its Service manual...and Im just wondering if and what I can upgrade it with? Im unsure of the Socket type, and im pretty sure this wont get a response... But id like to see if it can be done... Thanks |

It can be done as I have done it with an Intel CPU... as for the AMD, may need more reading/research or may be several CPUs and mobos -
