Am I screwed?: "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME"
I don't have a boot disk (Dell Inspiron 1200, didn't come with one.)

Thank you. Will give that a try. have to figure out how to get a copy of Windows though, i guess, and my system did not come with one.

Thank you, simpswr. I did manage to follow the directions I found here:
http://www.howtohaven.com/system/cre...etupdisk.shtml and it worked famously. Created a boot disk offf of my desktop, chkdsk'ed my lappy re: the directions referenced above, and bang, fixed. Awesome. thank you guys. !!! |
