Sound issue.
Got a new laptop, has vista and don't have a clue how to fix stuff in it.
But I put headphones into the jacks and play some music...the headphones play perfectly fine and the sound is great...but the speakers on the laptop are also playing the music regardless if the headphones are plugged in or not. Anyway to stop this? |

Re: Sound issue.
Make sure headphone jack is plugged all the way in. If that has been ruled out open the Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel. Click the Audio tab. Check the Sound Playback if there's a different output device other than the speakers try to use that instead.
