Laptop Screen to TV please read
hello
i have a compaq laptop, and when i first turn it on, the COMPAQ logo comes up with the press F10 for whatever and F12 for LAN or whatever but right after that page the screen just goes blank, it just stays black, so my thought was that maybe the screen isnt working well cause the screen is only hanging by one side and that one side is kinda falling apart. so what i want to try is to hook it up to my big screen and just use the computer like that. But since i cant view the computer at all, im afraid to buy a s-video cable and not be able to use it. or is it possible to hook it up to a computer monitor instead? please help quickly thank you |

Hook up either before you boot and you should get a signal.
If you hold a flashlight across the screen from either side do you see a image of your desktop after you boot? |
