Locked out :(

So i have a HP pavilion dv6000 and as of tonight i haven't been able to get past the load screen when i turn it on. Its only about a year or so old too. Here's what happens:
I turn on the computer and it comes up to the normal HP sign but after that it goes to a black screen and a white loading bar crawls across the top of the screen... which takes ages. Then the bar will say something on it like Windows Error Recovery. Once there it just sits there and i can't do anything but restart it to find the same thing all over... Help?

This displays to the top of the lappy's screen?

try an external monitor.

Test your HDD with an HDD diagnostic tool like Hitachi Drive Fitness Test. Once done and HDD passed with flying colors, try a CHKDSK /R in Recovery Console... you may need an XP install CD to do this.

Looks like a corrupt Windows installation... also try booting in Safe Mode or Last Known Good Configuration (tap F8 at startup to enter a menu).
