philips freevents x54 has lost its graphics.i am told the graphics card is gone.philips website no help.can the graphics card or motherboard be replaced,if so where can they be got.laptop is just over two years old and cost 1350.00 euros.

Try the lappy on an external monitor post if the lappy works on external moniter connected.

If it is the video card or motherboard or both, that would be a very expensive fix... In some cases they cost more to repair than to get a new one.

As for the part, try eBay or Google for the part number that you need.

Philips laptop will only work for a while on a external monitor , then you lose the graphics.Search on ebay and google for philips freevents x54 graphics card or motherboard has no results. Search on philips website for same has no results either. Philips website can not even identify this laptop.
