Toshiba Satelite M35X-S349 Low Volume Level
Hello,
My Satellite M35X-S349 volume level is not very loud with the sound turned all the way up (speakers or headphones). Its like the volume only goes up to say 6 instead of 11. ;-) You can hear it but it is on the edge of not being loud enough, especially if there is any background noise in the room. I checked for new sound drives and there were none. I went into control panel in the sounds section and made sure every slider I could find was at max volume. It seems like I figured this out once before but I can't remember, I haven't used this computer for a while. Thanks |

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling sound drivers?

Re: Toshiba Satelite M35X-S349 Low Volume Level
Yes, just did, same. I think I fixed this once a couple years ago but I can't remember how. It was a setting I believe but again i can't remember what.
It has Realtek 97 Audio btw. |

Re: Toshiba Satelite M35X-S349 Low Volume Level
Check Audio Properties (right click on speaker icon on taskbar)... go through each tab (i.e. Volume tab, Voice tab, etc.) and make adjustments as needed.
