Laptop turns on for 1 second then turns off

Hi everyone, i have a hp pavilion zd8000 laptop and a small or big problem i dont know. It turns on for 1 -2 seconds, the fans come on and then immediately switches off.

i must admit i punched it quite hard which i regret now. i have tried it with the removable parts out of it and stil same problem.

I know its a hardware problem just what is it. Thanks for any help.

You punched before you had this problem or after you had this problem? And yes, it sure sounds like a hardware issue to me.

Re: Laptop turns on for 1 second then turns off

If you flashed the the Bios with the wrong type and a CMOS reset did not clear it unless you have a socketed Bios chip it will probably need a motherboard.
