possible memory issues?
Greetings,
i was advised to address this issue in this area by tetonbob, after his assistance with many issues i was having please refer to this thread for information regarding what has been done to this laptop so far: "http://www.techsupportforum.com/security-center/virus-trojan-spyware-help/332710-well.html" the issue is this, once we got the infection corrected i got blasted with a blue screen with the following message: ***Hardware Malfunction*** Call you Hardware vendor for support NMI: Parity Chack/Memory Parity error NMI: Channel Check/IOCHK ***The system has halted*** so guidance would be greatly appreciated in hopefuly resolving this issue. |

Re: possible memory issues?
See if this helps:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315223 To test your memory use Memtest86+ Burn the ISO as an image to CD Boot the computer from CD-Rom first Allow the test to run and see if you have any errors. Are you able to go into Safe Mode If you can uninstall and reinstall the Video driver. Let us know how you make out. Bill |
