Upgrade Laptop Graphics Card

Hello,

I hav a LG R400 with 2.5GB of RAM 1.86GHz Dual-Core CPU and a ATI X2300 Mobility Radeon Graphic card (128MB). I want to play games on my laptop as it is more capable than my desktop, however my graphics card is a let down for me and I want to upgrade it. Suppose I could get my hands on a very good ATI mobility radeon graphic card would I be able to upgrade it, and if so how do I go about it (like opening up the laptop etc.).

Thanks

Re: Upgrade Laptop Graphics Card

Someone correct me if I am wrong here but I believe you won't be able to upgrade the videocard on a laptop since laptop videocards are integrated to the motherboard.

Re: Upgrade Laptop Graphics Card

most come with a video chip which is what you are stuck with
if it is one that comes with a card it is difficult to find and upgraded card for sale and will cost almost as much as you paid for the laptop
