Re: blue screen on dell vostro 1000
In case others are interested and if info is of some help, I took my laptop to someone to get fixed today. It wasn't under waranty so this was about my only option. The person that fixed my laptop told me that the virus I picked up worked its way into my bios system. He checked the ram and everything looked good. This virus also changed alot of my settings from default to custom which virtually made my system completely volnerable.
The partictual virus showed itself as a popup called av antivirus download. Luckaly this only set me back $100. I will definitly try to learn more viruses and how to prevent and fix them as to save money in the future. |
