[Solved] Dell Vostro crackly popping sound
After buying a brand new vostro 1000 laptop I discovered it had problems with crackly, popping sound when playing music. I sent it back only to get a replacement with the same problem.
Finally after an engineer visited Dell admitted it is a known issue with all vostros. The WIFI interfers with sound from files (not from CD, DVD player) if the WIFI is turned off, there is no crackling. Dell are aparantly releasing a Wireless driver to fix the problem very soon. I posted this in the hope it might help someone with this problem. |
