Graphics problem after downgrade HELP!!!

The problem is that I downgraded from Vista to XP and I lost all my drivers. I've managed to recover all of them expect for my graphics card.
It's an ATI Radeon x1100 (integrated) and my laptop can't detect it. I found this site for all my drivers:

http://www.driversbay.com/download-d...ft-windows-xp/

basically my question is: will just downloading the driver solve my problem? if not, what should i do?

I also forgot to mention I got it with Windows Vista, though the laptop does not necessarily need Vista

Re: Graphics problem after downgrade HELP!!!

Did you install the driver from the site you posted?
http://www.driversbay.com/download-d...ft-windows-xp/

I am unfimilar with this site so I can not confirm if it will work.
This should have been the first driver you installed. It is part of your Chipset.

This link also contains the drivers:
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_ca...ntegratedip-xp

We need to know what errors you may have in the Device Manager.

edit: i installed the bluetooth and modem drivers before my graphics driver, are there likely to be any problems?

Re: Graphics problem after downgrade HELP!!!

Check the Device Manager for any remaining errors (yellow !)
Post the errors if you have any.
If you have no errors, you should be good to go.

Let me know,
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Graphics problem after downgrade HELP!!!

device manager doesnt list any problems but occasionally when browsing through my local disks it stops responding and closes the windows
is this due to a driver error?

Re: Graphics problem after downgrade HELP!!!

I do not think it is related to a driver error.
Can you better discribe what you mean by browsing through the local disk?
