I have recently noticed that my laptop has no sound coming through the speakers, I can put the headset in the jack and have sound, any ideas, suggestions?
I also noted that I log off and sign all the way out of the PC and tell it to TURN OFF at exit but touched the top of the strip next to the power buttone and it willcome back on without hitting the power button and when I see the screen it says "hypernating" and I have nt changed anything to hybernate to my knowledge. Help please! Thanks |

Re: HP Pavillion DV 6000 no sound except through earphone
As for HIBERNATE.. check your Power Options/Settings in Control Panel. As for the AUDIO, if you have sound using your headphones, check Sound/Audio settings in Control Panel. Change the settings as needed (go through all the tabs to be sure nothing is unusually set). Also consider that may be the internal speakers are not connected or are defective.
