Acer Aspire MBR error
The problems is with my kids' laptop, an Acer Aspire 5720Z, with Vista. We bought it a year ago and had problems with it not starting since it was almost new. Finally, got a new hard disk on the guarantee a month ago. Now it doesn't start - again. I try to click Alt + F10, but then I get the following message: MBR Error 1 press any key to boot from floppy...
When I press a key the same message shows up OR it shows MBR Error 2 I'd be really grateful for any help on how to get the puter started. And also on any advice on how to prevent this from happening again. We have AVG antivirus. Thanks a million from a frustrated mum
