Re: Alps touchpad
Try this Alps
http://support.us.dell.com/support/d...&fileid=244634 or http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=149404 I would try the Alps first as Synaptics drivers can be a pain to remove if they do not work. I know of some people using the Synaptics drivers on an Alps touchpad and have had no issues, but I have not done it myself so I can not confirm the results. Synaptics driver: http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=160150 or http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=149645 Adjusting touchpad: http://support.dell.com/support/topi...doclang=en&cs= Bill |

Re: Alps touchpad
Let me know. I can not gaurantee the results.
I have also know people to use other manufactures drivers and manually installed them. with the ALPS drivers there a various versions. Some have a typing off function, but it depends on the version. Bill |
