Sony Laptop Touch Mouse not Working
Hey!
I own a Sony VGN-NR180E/S and everything was working fine uptill yesterday. However, when I started my laptop yesterday, I was unable to use the touchpad and move my mouse. I restarted my laptop several times, but it would still not work. Next, I decided to look in the control panel settings for "mouse" in Windows, and it seems that my computer is not recognizing the touchpad anymore because it is not showing up as a mouse device (I'm sure if it used to show up before?). Please help! Sincerely, The CEO |

Re: Sony Laptop Touch Mouse not Working
Have you checked Device Manager? I suggest you uninstall the touchpad drivers there and also any touchpad driver related programs in ADD/REMOVE. Reboot. Let Windows recognize the touchpad then install the needed drivers as needed. You may have to get from Sony website the drivers or any updates that may be needed in this case.

Re: Sony Laptop Touch Mouse not Working
What should I be looking for under device manager? All I currently see under mouse is my USB mouse that I had to plug in. All I currently see under keyboard is just one keyboard.
Thanks for helping
