hey. i have an Acer Aspire 6290G with windows Vista on it and i keep getting the BSOD every time i use my webcam on MSN. wen i start webcam on msn, it runs great for bout 10 mins then jus crashes and goes to BSOD. the error on the bsod says
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL its really annoying and wen it starts up again after the blue screen it goes to the "windows did not shut down properly" thing and i pick "start windows normally" but it takes so long to start up. after start up, a window pops up telling me there was an error and if i would like to find a solution. if i try looking for a solution but it never really finds one. i donno what to do. the things runs fine otherwise. any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are my laptop specs Acer Aspire 6290G Vista Home Premium SP1 (64 bit) Intel Core 2 DUO 2.00 GHz 4GB ram NVidia GeForce 9500M GS TurboCache Crystal Eye web cam using CyberLink YouCam thnx guyz. |

Re: Aspire 6290G- BSOD!
Try uninstalling the camera driver, reboot and reinstall. Try uninstalling in Device Manager and uninstalling any related programs in ADD/REMOVE.
